Albert Andrè® anti-thrombosis stockings exercise a graduated compression on the limb: 20-24 mm Hg on the ankle, 14-16 mm Hg on the calf and 8 mm Hg on the thigh for light production and 25-35 mm Hg on the ankle, 18-25 mm Hg on the calf and 10-14 mm Hg on the thigh for new strong production . These products restore the pressure lacking in the vein system and bring blood circulation speed back to normal levels in the veins. The function of this compressive support is therefore containing rather than elasticizing and is indispensable for largely eliminating stasis and clots that could easily lead to the formation of an embolus or thrombus.
Indications: preventive treatment of pre-operative and post-operative embolism. Particularly suitable for patients subjected to post-traumatic treatments and in case of hydrostatic oedemas, contusions and sprains. Compressions values: mm Hg 18-24 at ankle level, progressively decreasing towards the calf and thigh, restores compression lacking to the venous system (venous pump), re-establishing blood circulation rate to normal level in the femoral veins.
Mesh: with circumferential stretch (alternately, double mesh) which allows the stocking to maintain its compression characteristics after several washings. The stockings have passed the quality and duration test (15 washes in washing-machine) maintaining their technical characteristics unaltered.
Reinforced heel with anatomical shaping: improves adherence, stretch and durability. Elastic band sewn to the top (with silicone anti-slip strip) ensures correct position of stocking and prevents descent.
