VACOped
Cast stable dynamic orthoses (walker) is the modern treatment for all injuries of the foot and ankle. Studies have proven excellent functional outcomes using only the VACOped.
Due to the unique design of this dynamic orthoses patients can weight bear earlier, enabling a faster return to normal life including work, sport and normal day to day activities.
VACOped is cast stable; this stability is achieved via an inner vacuum cushion that forms to the shape of the leg by evacuating the air, allowing adjustments to be made for swelling, whilst the external shell provides the rigidity.
Adjustable ROM (range of movement) bar allows the boot to be fixed or permit movement dependant on the indication.
